Add shopping to the list of world class amenities that Las Vegas, the gambling mecca of the world, offers to casino gamers.  Just like restaurants, shows and spas, there is something here for everyone.  Part of the Top Gambler lifestyle is spending your winnings before leaving town.  Luxury brands dominate the strip, and they are beautifully represented in pristine malls and in-casino arcades.  Some of the finest include Channel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Dior, Prada, Jimmy Choo, Bottega Venetta, and Hermes are just a few of the beautiful boutiques stocked to fulfill your shopping fantasy.

One of the most surprising perks of Vegas shopping are the professional and pleasant sales associates in the stores.  Staff is universally friendly and competent.  There is no snobbery or pretense in the highest end of boutiques.  CAYA -- “Come as you are” is a Vegas mantra.  And nowhere is it better represented than in Vegas retail.  These sales associates welcome shoppers of all ages, shapes and sizes.  Mature guests dressed head to toe in the most expensive collections mingle comfortably with twenty-somethings in flip flops and T-Shirts.  Both receiving equal attention and respect.  The associates know that someone who appears to be a mess may have $25,000 burning a hole in their pocket, and they are trained not to ignore people that look “different.”

The real secret is that upscale Vegas shops have merchandise that you cannot find in the traditional worldwide shopping venues of New York, Milan, Paris and London.  You can find these new releases in the smaller boutiques within the casino arcades.  The best way to score a new release is to visit in person, talk with the sales associate, and ask if there are any “special” pieces that are available in the boutique at the moment.  Once the associate has an understanding of your taste, he or she will offer you a peak at treasures not displayed on the floor.  Once you establish that relationship, it is amazing the treasures you can get.  My wife has a book of sales associates in Vegas that she calls when she needs a luxury item that she cannot get anywhere else in the world.  Winning money is the best.  Spending that money on a special luxury item you cannot get anywhere else in the world is a perfect example of the Top Gambler lifestyle.
