I like Firekeepers!

This is a bit more than your typical, side of the highway, Native American Casino.  This property is on I-94 and is a must stop between Detroit and Chicago.  It is quite large.  I have been unable to stay at the hotel because it is always full.  So I found myself staying in motels close to the hotel that were less than desirable.

What is great about Firekeepers is it is so clean.  It is kept in immaculate condition.  When a casino property is spotless, it really makes the gaming experience better.  The property has a red and white color palate, and it just feels fresh.

I will admit, my review may be a bit biased because three hands into a Ultimate Texas Hold'em session I was dealt a straight flush with max bets on the base bet and the trips bet.  Serious $.  100:1 altogether.  That will influence anyone's view of the property.  Unfortunately, I did have to wait about 20 minutes before the pit boss verified this win.  I assume they were looking at the video from above.  The dealer was great, but the pit boss was not particular nice about the big win.  The other players were annoyed as the table was frozen for a lengthy period of time.  They couldn't believe what they were seeing.  I told them to check out TopGambler.com!

Since I haven't been able to stay at the casino, I have not fully taken advantage of the players' club comps.  I did get some free food.  I have always left this property a big winner, so I don't know how it stays open (wink, wink).

Interestingly, this property was aggressive in remaining open through most of the COVID-19 pandemic.  As a Native American casino, the State of Michigan could not close it down like it did the three Detroit casinos.

I will remain a big fan of this property so long as I win.  But seriously, this is the best of the Native American, Highway casinos I have played at.
